Squirrel Relocation
Abby and Colette helped me relocate two squirrels a couple of weeks ago.
Items needed for relocating a squirrel: 1 cage with live squirrel inside, 1 bicycle, 1 bicycle trailer, 2 little girls. The first squirrel we caught that day was friendly, but the second one had fangs and was foaming at the mouth. We decided it had rabies, so we kept our distance.
For any mothers viewing these photos; since the girls did not have helmets, we kept the speed at a walking pace for safety.
During the return trip, we explored a hiking trail through the forest, picked flowers and blackberries, and got a flat tire (from blackberry thorns).
